“In their search for a new place to live, they ended up living underwater in an ancient city that was submerged thousands of years ago. Gathered, they rose across the salt water, cautious but curious. Wherever they had come from their journey was long, but their end was here, in these currents and streams. They entered the waters of the shallow sea, crafted things that moved like fish, like frogs and birds. They were at home in the cool depths of what they called the Deep City.”
