“According to Vedic knowledge, there are the measurements of time known as Yugas which span periods of creation.”
– Satya Yuga (The Age of Truth, Golden Age, Perfection.)
– Treta Yuga (it has three quarters virtue and one quarter sinfulness.)
– Dvapara Yuga (people become tainted with lower qualities and aren't as strong as their ancestors.)
– Kali Yuga (Society falls into disuse and people become enveloped in lower qualities. High knowledge is lost and scriptures are diminished.)
